Following the unprecedented impacts of Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis over successive weekends, we have been forced to temporarily close Miller Howe on the Lake for around 8 weeks to allow a thorough clear-up, repair and refurbishment of the hotel and its grounds. We were very reluctant to do this but it was the only way that we could ensure that we can maintain a high-quality experience for all of our guests after the severe disruption caused by the storms.
We will be back in early Summer, re-vitalised, refreshed and ready to welcome you to enjoy all that this breathtakingly beautiful area has to offer. Hotel and restaurant bookings are being taken for stays/meals from 4th May 2020 onward (although we will reopen sooner if the refurbishment work is completed according to plan).
